Super 8 - What is it?

Whenever you see groovy or stylish home movies from the 60s and 70s the chances are it would have been filmed on Super 8 cine film as this was the main medium used at the time.

Why use it now?

Super 8 film has the unmistakable “look and feel” of real movie film. The film stock manages to make people and events look glamorous as well as being highly flattering — which is why cine film is the perfect medium for wedding videography.

Why have a wedding film?

One thing you can be sure of is that your wedding day will fly by and you will be blown away by the fact there was so much going on but so little that you actually remember! By having your wedding filmed you will have the opportunity to experience key parts of your special day that were missed or forgotten. Our cameras will capture all the best bits and enable you to watch and see things you truly thought you would never catch again!

We all know that booking a photographer goes without saying but do remember that you can’t hear the music of your first dance, the funny speeches or your intitmate vows on a photogragh - that’s why we think it is so important to capture your day on film, we guarantee that you will find it money well spent!

How much will it cost me?

As a guideline we offer 3 different Package Options (Premier, Prestige and Deluxe), but as we offer a bespoke service, these can all be tailored to your specific needs. Packages start from £1350.

Can the service be filmed?

This is not a problem as long as you get written agreement. We would set up our camera in a discreet position before the ceremony begins and an edit of your service would be incorporated into your final film.

Will you be unobtrusive?

Definately. We offer a discreet and professional service - still achieving great shots whilst keeping in the background. Our film crew will arrive well dressed and generally blend into the background. We are used to working with high profile clients and are happy to comply with special security issues and any privacy measures that are necessary.

I’m getting married abroad, can you still film my wedding?

Of course! We are able to travel to all parts of the world to capture your day for you, naturally it will have an impact on costs, but this is something that can be discussed with you.

How do I commission you to make my film?

Just phone or email us to make further enquiries or to make a provisional booking. We can then discuss your ‘brief’ with you to work out which ‘Package' is right for you. Once we have pencilled in a date we will ask for a deposit to secure your booking.
